Ricks, a literary critic who focuses on poetry, does his thing with a selection of Dylan songs. The sections are loosely organized around the seven deadly sins, which doesn’t work very well, but each song discussion is clever and revealing. I’ve probably read too many books about Dylan and this is definitely in the top three.
